A new add-on to the EON Situation Room and EON Tacit lets organizations interview synthetic role experts drawn from adversarially verified incident courses — with Cited Patterns that may become trusted knowledge, a Story Layer that never pretends to be fact, and real Anchor Interviews as the human ground truth.
IRVINE, CA — July 29, 2026 — EON AI Ventures today announced Situation Room Voices, a new capability that sits beside the EON Situation Room’s verified course library and inside EON Tacit’s living-memory platform. Situation Room Voices lets people interview fictional but role-faithful composite experts — maintenance leads, board operators, permit coordinators, HSE advisors and other seats — who have “lived through” patterns across the Situation Room corpus. Every answer is labeled. Every claim that can become organizational knowledge must cite the course. Memorable storytelling is kept deliberately separate from evidence.
The Situation Room already teaches the industry’s hardest lessons from real incidents. EON Tacit already captures what retiring experts still carry in their heads. Situation Room Voices connects the two: it turns the corpus into people you can talk to — without inventing fake eyewitnesses, and without letting invented motives dress up as verified judgment. The architecture, governance model, and implementation framework are detailed in the accompanying white paper, “Situation Room Voices.”
Two libraries. One interview habit.
Situation Room Voices does not replace real expert capture. It adds a second library with a different trust contract:
- Anchor Interviews — real people, recorded with consent inside EON Tacit; human verification before anything becomes approved organizational memory.
- Situation Room Voices — synthetic composite role experts, always labeled synthetic; built from the Situation Room’s adversarially verified courses.
In EON Tacit, both appear as interviewable sources — side by side — with clear badges: ANCHOR, VOICE · CITED, or VOICE · STORY. In the Situation Room, learners and operators can “talk to a Voice from this seat” beside a course or shelf, with an optional path into a real Anchor Interview when one exists.
Cited Patterns and Story Layer — evidence and teaching, kept apart
Every Voice answer is forced into one of two channels:
- Cited Patterns — course-backed facts spoken in a role voice, each tied to a specific Situation Room course and span. Only Cited Patterns may be proposed for promotion into trusted knowledge — and only after a different authorized person verifies them.
- Story Layer — memorable first-person framing that helps a pattern stick. Constrained by design. Never becomes Work Intelligence, even if several Voices “agree.”
ARCHITECTURE RULE The Agent — or the Voice — is the face. Provenance is the brain. Story never graduates.

Twelve seats. Eight shelves. Patterns across the corpus.
Instead of one shallow chatbot per accident, Situation Room Voices uses twelve role archetypes — job seats that cut across the Situation Room’s eight Oil & Gas shelves. A veteran’s value is not one incident; it is the pattern seen from one vantage point across many. The Voice cast is built for that.
The coverage matrix below shows where each seat is Primary (P) or Secondary (S) across the eight shelves:
| Role archetype | 00 Flagship |
01 Safety / Isolation |
02 Startup / Shutdown |
03 Over- pressure |
04 Rotating |
05 Process Upsets |
06 Loss of Containment |
07 Utilities |
| Maintenance / Mechanical Lead | P | P | S | S | P | — | P | — |
| Field / Outside Operator | S | P | P | — | P | S | P | S |
| Control-Room / Board Operator | — | — | P | P | S | P | S | P |
| Permit-to-Work / Isolation Coordinator | P | P | P | — | S | — | S | — |
| Instrument / Analyzer Technician | — | S | S | P | — | P | — | P |
| Process / Unit Engineer | S | — | P | P | — | P | — | S |
| Rotating Equipment Specialist | — | — | S | — | P | — | — | S |
| HSE / Process Safety Advisor | P | P | S | S | — | S | P | — |
| Shift Supervisor / Area Authority | P | S | P | S | — | S | S | P |
| Contractor Crew Lead | P | P | S | — | S | — | P | — |
| Relief / Flare Systems Owner | — | — | — | P | — | S | — | S |
| Utilities / Power & Air Operator | — | — | — | S | S | S | — | P |
P = Primary seat for that shelf · S = Secondary witness · — = rare / skip in early rollout
Personas are fictional composites: no real worker names, no real employer as the Voice’s company. Famous incident names already documented in the courses may appear only as Cited Pattern citations — never as invented “I was there that night” testimony.
From Role Interview to Pattern Blend
A structured Role Interview produces a tagged transcript — Cited and Story kept apart. Multiple Role Interviews then feed a Pattern Blend: a seat-indexed atlas of recurring, course-backed patterns. The Blend accelerates what to ask a real retiring expert in an Anchor Interview. It does not replace that expert.
Why now
“Everyone is racing to generate synthetic experts that sound convincing. We refused to let storytelling contaminate the verified record. Situation Room Voices lets you talk to the seat — with Cited Patterns you can trust enough to verify, a Story Layer that stays honest about being storytelling, and Anchor Interviews as the human ground truth. The Situation Room already teaches the industry’s hardest lessons. Now you can interview the seats that lived the pattern — and still know which answers are evidence and which are teaching color,” said Dan Lejerskar, founder of EON AI Ventures.
Situation Room Voices at a glance
- Interview synthetic role experts drawn from verified Situation Room courses.
- Separate Cited Patterns (may promote) from Story Layer (never promotes).
- Keep real Anchor Interviews as the ground-truth path inside EON Tacit.
- Use Voices to find the highest-yield questions for retiring experts.
- Activate beside Situation Room courses — and inside EON Tacit as a labeled source class.
Availability
Situation Room Voices is being advanced as a fixed-scope pilot add-on for industrial and high-consequence organizations already engaging with the EON Situation Room and/or EON Tacit. The initial Oil & Gas pilot focuses on four deep role Voices across the Flagship and Safety & Isolation shelves, with Role Interviews and Pattern Blend under human review before wider rollout across the remaining shelves and other verticals.
