IRVINE, CA — August 26, 2026 — EON AI Ventures today introduced Task IQ, a library of industrial task types that allows a procedure verified at one facility to be reused at another without any of the first facility’s data moving with it.
Industrial operators hold thousands of written procedures, and almost none of them travel. A confined space entry procedure developed at one refinery is rebuilt from scratch at the next, at full cost and full risk, even though the underlying task is the same. The result is that hard-won safety knowledge stays where it was learned.
Task IQ separates the two things that have always been bundled together. The specific — a customer’s equipment tags, setpoints, site conditions and incident history — stays inside that customer’s tenant and never moves. The general — how a centrifugal pump is safely isolated, how a vessel is prepared for entry — is held as a class-bound task type that any operator can instantiate against their own equipment. Built on a published data rights standard
Task IQ operates entirely within EON’s published three-tier data rights standard. Customer Data and Derived Insights remain the exclusive property of the customer. Only Generalized Learnings — de-identified, non-attributable patterns — enter the shared library, and only after they have been independently observed at two or more unaffiliated organisations or documented in a recognised industry standard, aged at least three months, screened against excluded commercial categories, and offered to the originating customer for a thirty-day review during which any item may be withheld.
Every qualified task type is licensed back to participating customers free of charge and in perpetuity, together with the learnings contributed by every other participant.

Seeded from where accidents actually happen
Task IQ is not a catalogue of all industrial work. Its scope is limited to tasks where serious injury or loss of containment is possible, and its build order is set by evidence rather than convenience. The initial library is seeded from published industry standards and prioritised against EON’s Situation Room catalogue of documented industrial situations, so that the first task types built are the ones underneath the most frequently cited failures. Isolation and stored-energy release is first.
