EON Genesis Expands Cross-Device Training With Immersive Delivery on Meta Quest 3

Organizations can match each training task to the right level of immersion — from desktop and mobile learning to spatial, procedural, and equipment-based practice in VR

Irvine, CA — September 7, 2026 — EON AI Ventures today announced expanded immersive capabilities for EON Genesis through Meta Quest 3, giving organizations a flexible way to create AI-powered training once and deliver it at the level of immersion best suited to each learning task.

EON Genesis is designed as a unified training platform rather than a VR-only product. Organizations can create and manage lessons on a desktop, then deliver the same content on a desktop, tablet, phone, or Meta Quest 3. This allows training teams to choose the appropriate experience without rebuilding the lesson for a separate delivery system.

Information review, equipment exploration, demonstrations, questions, and knowledge-based assessments can work effectively on familiar screens. Training that depends on spatial awareness and physical context — such as navigating an industrial facility, understanding the size and position of equipment, identifying components, or practicing assembly and disassembly — can benefit from placing the learner inside the environment.

“The real breakthrough is not simply that EON Genesis runs on Meta Quest 3; it is that Genesis gives customers the freedom to use the right level of immersion for every training task. Learners can access everyday instruction on a desktop or mobile device, then step into VR when spatial understanding, interaction, and hands-on practice make the difference. This is the best VR experience I have seen in years, and it is now part of the same Genesis platform our customers already use, said Dan Lejerskar, Founder and Chairman, EON AI Ventures.

Meta Quest 3 provides Genesis customers with an immersive delivery mode for these advanced scenarios. The wireless headset allows learners to look around naturally, move through virtual warehouses, plants, production facilities, and equipment environments, and interact directly with 3D objects using the controllers.

Inside an immersive Genesis lesson, learners can proceed through training step by step, explore equipment, remove and replace components, perform assembly and disassembly tasks, and receive visual and audio feedback as they complete procedures. Genesis learning modes — including Show Me, Train Me, Let Me Try, and Evaluate Me — support demonstration, guided practice, independent exploration, and assessment within the same lesson.

Demonstrates how to move through a Genesis lesson, switch navigation modes, use the VR control panel, and interact with 3D equipment. It also shows users grabbing, removing, repositioning, and reassembling components with visual and audio snapping feedback.

For customers in oil and gas, energy, manufacturing, mining, aerospace, and other equipment-intensive industries, this creates a practical option for advanced training without requiring learners to be physically present at the real location. Organizations can reserve VR for the tasks where immersion adds meaningful value while continuing to deliver simpler learning through desktop and mobile devices.

Video: Opening an EON Genesis Lesson in Meta Quest 3

Shows how to access Genesis.eonaiventures.com from the Meta Quest 3 browser, open the Genesis lesson library, select a lesson, and launch it in VR without using the QR scanner. The walkthrough covers the journey from sign-in to entering the immersive training experience. There is no separate Genesis app or plugin to install, and the headset does not need to remain connected to a PC during the lesson. For the best visual performance on Meta Quest 3, EON recommends using GLB environments. Splat environments are automatically removed from Quest sessions to maintain performance.
