EON Field IQ Ultra: Touch the Right Valve. Watch It Turn Green.

The next EON Field IQ will check that the worker touched the right part, keep every SOP for the team and, with consent, turn each checked step into data for EON’s own AI model and, later, robots. Built in five stages, iPhone first.

IRVINE, California, 19 October 2026 — Point a phone at a pump. A see-through hand appears at the suction valve and shows the turn: clockwise, until it stops. Touch the real valve: the phone sees your fingertip on the right part, a chime plays, and the valve turns green on the screen. EON Reality, together with EON AI Ventures, today announced EON Field IQ Ultra, designed to show the move, know it was made and learn from the work. None of it is in the app yet: EON is building it now, in five stages, starting on iPhone.

Showing is not knowing

Field IQ already names the parts of a machine, gives the steps and checks the work from a photo. But a job often comes back in just three or four steps. Real work needs more. A photo cannot see a finger press a button, and a printed machine on a training-room wall or a trade-show stand never changes, so the photo check can never pass. And each SOP is written afresh: two workers at the same machine can get two different ones.

Show the move. Check the touch. Keep the know-how.

Point at a machine and Field IQ Ultra will offer up to five jobs, plus “My own job”, typed or said. Pick Quick, a few one-line steps for a fast run-through or a demo, or Detailed: every step the job needs, each with the part, how you know it worked and why it matters, in the style of the 144 SOPs EON wrote for 12 oil and gas training machines in its Situation Room SOP Book.

At each step a see-through hand will play the exact move at the part, then the phone will watch for your fingertip. On a real machine, a Pro iPhone’s depth sensor will check that the finger is really there; other iPhones will check where it points, counted as “pointed at”, not a touch. On a printed picture, touching the printed valve will count. Each check will record how it was made: seen by the AI, measured by the phone, or the worker’s word. A check never presses Next for you.

Every SOP will be kept in a library the team shares. Same machine again? The same steps will be back at once. A job done well will be able to become a new SOP, once a person approves it.

“Showing a worker the job is not enough. We have to know it was done,” said Dan Lejerskar, Founder and Chairman of EON Reality. “No guessing, no box ticked from memory. Touch the wrong valve and Field IQ will tell you before you turn it.” said by  Dan Lejerskar.

Every step teaches the next

Each checked step will become a record: the part, the touch, the verdict and any expert’s correction. EON Assess IQ will score it and EON Delta, EON’s own AI model, will learn from it. Then the same know-how will teach robots. Robot IQ will be the EON brain for a robot bought off the shelf; Skill Packs, one per industry, oil and gas first, will be what you load into it. EON Delta will learn only from what customer contracts and each worker’s consent allow. Consent stays off until the worker says yes. Confirm the data wording with legal.

“Picture a fleet of cars where every mile one car drives teaches them all,” Lejerskar said. “The big AI models have read everything and touched nothing. EON Delta will learn from real hands doing real jobs. That data will make the next worker better. Then it will teach robots.” said Dan Lejerskar.

Five stages, iPhone first

EON builds in this order, and each stage ships only when it passes its tests:

  • Five jobs, Quick or Detailed SOPs, and the SOP library.
  • The touch check and the floating hands.
  • Motion and voice checks, and a score for every step.
  • Step records, kept with consent, and a first EON Delta model.
  • Robot IQ Skill Packs, tested in a simulator and on a lab arm before any plant.

Availability

EON Field IQ runs on iPhone and iPad today confirm: on the App Store on 15 October, or still in TestFlight testing?. Field IQ Ultra will arrive stage by stage. No dates are given.
