This Morning’s Permit Becomes Today’s Lesson — and the Live Guide on the Real Skid.

EON AI Ventures launches Permit IQ as the living isolation story: the drawing talks to the list, the second check is proved, and the same permit feeds Genesis, Field IQ, and Assess IQ so the training-center skid and the morning job finally meet.

IRVINE, CA — September 28, 2026 — EON AI Ventures today introduced Permit IQ, a Work Intelligence solution designed to transform fragmented isolation documentation into a single, connected, living permit that can follow the job from preparation and verification through training and field execution.

Rather than replacing an operator’s existing permit forms, Permit IQ connects drawings, numbered isolation points, registers, required fields, and verification records so that each element remains visible, traceable, and synchronized throughout the work. The resulting living permit delivers immediate operational value on its own while also providing the structured foundation for immersive training and real-time field guidance, creating a continuous link between how work is authorized, how workers learn it, and how it is ultimately performed. The architecture, workflow, and approach to turning the living permit into both the lesson and the live guide are detailed in the accompanying white paper, “Permit IQ: Why the living permit is valuable on its own — and how it becomes the lesson and the live guide.”

The permit is the lesson

Once the permit is alive, it becomes the input to the rest of the Intelligence Flywheel. Genesis takes this morning’s permit as the procedure. A worker can rehearse that exact isolation on a training skid today — not once a year when they visit the center. Genesis needs a 3D model of the location. If a P&ID exists, the geometry can be built quickly. If it does not, EON Studio or EON Universal Mirror Direct can create it without a long wait.

The permit is the live guide — no 3D required

Field IQ does not wait for a twin. Hold the phone against the real skid. The software recognizes the equipment — this is the compressor, this is the pump — matches it to the permit, and shows the next move in augmented reality on the actual hardware. That is live guidance while the work happens, on the real skid.

The live interrupt

Assess IQ watches the same job. If the step is right, it continues. If the step is wrong, it interrupts now. Not a score next month. A stop in the moment.

Dan Lejerskar, Founder and CEO, EON AI Ventures, said:

“A digital copy of a yellow form is not enough. The permit for this job has to become the lesson, then the live guide. Training-center skids and the morning permit have never met. Permit IQ is how they meet — and Field IQ does it on the real hardware without waiting for a 3D model.”

Where it sits

Permit IQ is product one in the Work Loop on the Intelligence Flywheel. It digitizes the plan, the controls, and the authority so the job is a live, checkable story before Field IQ guides the hands, Genesis rehearses the same job, and Assess IQ scores plan versus reality. Compound IQ later keeps the safe lesson. Authorized people still sign. The software does not declare equipment safe.
