Each concise course pairs certification-grade instruction with a playable EON Life simulation on real 3D plant — and every one was independently, adversarially safety-verified against its source, incident by incident.
IRVINE, CA — July 21, 2026 — EON AI Ventures today announced the completion of the EON Situation Room for Oil & Gas: a catalog of 120 detailed safety courses covering the industry’s highest-consequence scenarios — from stored-pressure release during lockout and runaway reactions to BLEVEs, well blowouts, arc flash and toxic gas releases. Unlike conventional safety training, each course is engineered to feed three connected systems at once — a Custom Virtual Campus, the EON Live real-time simulation runtime, and the EON Universal 3D facility platform — so a single course delivers structured instruction, assessment, and a live, playable simulation of the emergency. The architecture, training methodology, and simulation framework are detailed in the accompanying white paper, “The EON Situation Room: Turning the Industry’s Worst Accidents into Verified, Simulatable Training.”
Grounded in real incidents
Each course is a tight, roughly 20-page program built on the real hazard mechanism and, where relevant, the landmark incidents that taught the industry these lessons — including Piper Alpha, Buncefield, Bhopal, Deepwater Horizon (Macondo), Feyzin and Texas City. Every course carries the correct step-by-step safe procedure, failure modes and early-warning signs, honestly cited standards, twelve or more examination questions, an oral interview, and a scored simulation run, mapped to a fixed certification weighting.
Independently verified
To ensure the material is trustworthy rather than merely plausible, every one of the 120 courses was re-checked by an independent, adversarial verification pass that compared each course line-by-line against its authoritative source. The result: 114 courses verified clean, six with minor citation or labeling slips that were corrected, and zero that reversed or omitted a safety-critical step. No course required a safety escalation.

One course, three engines
“Most safety training is something you read. Ours is something you read, are tested on, and then rehearse in a living simulation,” said Dan Lejerskar, founder of EON AI Ventures. “Because the same course drives the campus, the live simulation and the 3D plant, 120 courses become 120 scenarios we can turn into simulations operators can step into and practice safely — as many times as it takes.”
